So.
On Wednesdays, I have to carry THREE large bags to school.
1. My camera bag, which is good-sized but happily doubles as my purse ’cause it has lots of pockets.
2. My book bag which has to weigh thirty pounds or so, seriously.
3. My huge art portolio bag thingy, which is three feet by two and a half feet.
Heaven help me if I want some water or a cup of coffee. My back is killing me and its only ten-thirty!!
but I’m HAPPY!!!

I am very tired.
I did my math test online. Three times.
Then, I did a few loads of laundry, cleaned, vacuumed, dusted, washed dishes, scrubbed dog pee out of the carpet, changed the sheets in the bedroom, worked on photographs, did my Big Drawing, which is nice but not fabulous, cooked three meals, made coffee twice, went to the hardware store and bank, picked up kids, helped with homework, washed hair, snuggled people, broke up countless arguments, combed out curls, spread out wet sweaters to dry, signed three parental consent forms for DIFFERENT THINGS, said “Hurry up” about a thousand times and plunged the toilet in the boys’ bathroom.
But TH’s day was actually harder than mine - his car broke down again today.
His Blazer is out of commission already, so he’s been driving the ‘83 Jaguar, although it isn’t the best in the snow. He has to go down south (southern Idaho, not south meaning Atlanta Georgia or anything) this weekend to work, and has no other way to get there!
He has been trying and TRYING to get Mona (the ‘83 Jag) fixed; the engine got flooded and now it won’t start no matter what he’s tried. He is worried about the fuel pump, which on this car costs $250 at the cheapest. Just for the pump itself.
I don’t need to tell you that we don’t have $250! All the other things that didn’t work on Mona TH has fixed, he is a member of this Jaguar lovers group (for lack of a better term) online and he has got wonderful advice there on how to fix things on her, but this one is just really expensive.
He just came in from outside soaking wet (it’s nine thirty here and about twenty degrees) from crawling around in and under the car in the snow.
I am gonna go feed him coffee laced with booze and hopefully talk him into going to bed and trying tomorrow…..
It did take me a while to get these onto the computer! but some of them are nice….
Hmm. I wonder if I can post from this phone??

No, I don’t think I will be out of here forever, I probably just won’t write here as much.
I dunno.
NO ONE has commented over at journalspace yet, so I don’t know if anyone is even reading there.
It stinks that you can’t tell. *pouts*
Wonderful day, I LOVE COLLEGE!!!!!
Happy birthday to my darling J1, who, although he is now fourteen is still such a smart, kind, respectful person!
I am so proud to be his mother.
No money to give him a present due to Whomever Hacked My Bankcard. Hopefully this weekend…..
I’m gonna do it.
Even though I am paranoid and un-trusting.
Even though I HATE not being able to customize my page.
Even though I am tired of moving all my crap around.
I am exporting all my posts over to the new journalspace.
Okay?
See you all over there.
Just found out that our deal fell through on TH’s gallery space.
Rather crushing.
Hit with an alarming number of insufficient funds charges at the bank, too….regardless of the fact that it will supposedly be cleared up in a couple weeks, it is killing us right now!
Up to four hundred dollars with the fraudulent charges and the bank’s fees, and of course they don’t stop charging just because the items are in dispute.
J1’s birthday is on Monday. MONDAY. And we were going to FINALLY have some money on someone’s birthday, and now we’re totally wiped out.
Thats rather crushing, too. He is fourteen, he isn’t going to be thrilled about handmade cards.
I am going to watch Boston Legal and drown my sorrows with ice water.
