Had such a wonderful night with my husband.
*dreamy sigh*
I am still in my bathrobe - its the super-plushy cherry red one my children gave me for Christmas. I LOVE it!
At first I thought I wouldn’t like it because its short, and I wanted long….but its so VERY warm that it would be TOO warm if it was long! My feet get chilly but that keeps me comfortable.
Anyway.
TH is working in the shop on the doors for the Snooty House. I am glad because
a. it is easier on his body to do that than to work underneath the car all day!
b. he has been worrying about being able to get them finished in time, because of all the car problems he’s had to fix, and
c. it makes him happy to work with wood, under normal circs.
Like, no one is freaking out at him to hurry up, or telling him he’s not going to be paid, or something like that.
Also, I like it when he smells like mahogany or walnut.
Car oil, not so much.
I have to get in the bathtub and then get busy with the large pile of homework I have…and this afternoon is the Phi Theta Kappa thing I have to go to!
I’m looking forward, a bit nervously, to that. Just…..no clue what to expect, at all, you know?
